Zoe told me "gesundheit" when I sneezed, multiple times.
Zoe told me to "trade" with her (and then we successfully did so!).
Zoe introduced herself and then us to a perfect stranger, and told her that Santa was going to bring her lots of toys.
Zoe told us she loved us every chance she got.
Zoe ate her weight in Goldfish crackers.
Zoe told us, "mommy, you're a mudder. Daddy, you're a father, and I'm a daughter." But don't you dare interupt this dialogue (that she said more times than I can count!)....she gets mad, pouts and won't finish it.
Zoe told us emphatically that she didn't want to watch the football Noah wanted to watch.
And, Zoe insisted on going to BJ's holding her blue beaded necklace, a candy necklace, and a toy tambourine.
Yes, this is a typical day.

Roles...and other stuff...
Zoe has discovered that we play roles. Our *names* are Mommy, Daddy, and Zoe. However, she tells us, OFTEN, "Mommy, you're a mudder." "Daddy, you're a farter." I get a chuckle out of that one. Unfortunately, she's now started saying 'father'. She does look at me like I'm a nut-job when I say, "Zoe, you're a daughter."
Zoe favorites:
In potty news--Zoe managed to stay dry every day for 12 days IN A ROW. We had had issues with about an accident a day...we made sticker charts for her, and when she earned 5 stickers for staying dry ALL day, she would get a toy. After a couple of days, Zoe quickly responded. We did 2 rounds of 5 stickers each. The next time, we upped it to 7 days, and now, she's currently working on a chart to get 10 stickers! Go Zoe!!
Zoe favorites:
- "Canky Doodle Dandy"
- "One Two, Buckle My Shoe"
- dancing
- saying "boo" to just about anyone near her
- reading
- being a princess (wearing her tutu and holding her magic wand--she has 3 or 4)
- chasing Peanut
- helping me cook
- her Bunny, Lambie, and Blankie
- chocolate chip cookies (think chips ahoy, not ooey gooey homemade ones)
- "yo-gret"
- baths
- TALKING

"I Wanna Get That!!!"
So it begins....
It doesn't matter what we're watching, a favorite DVD, a tv show, the news, whatever. If Zoe sees a commercial for anything these days...we will hear "I wanna get that!!"
So for those of you who are asking what Zoe wants for Christmas? Everything.
And yes, I know I'm long overdue for a post, and need to get back into the swing of things. Thanks for being patient and not giving up on me....Life took over briefly.
