What a week!!

Sorry for the lack of posting....Zoe's been BUSY!

Last week brought more walking and talking, and a cold. She was hit hard with this, and we even thought she'd have to stay home one day (she had to go home early from daycare the day before) but she pulled through!! She's been pretty snotty, a bit raspy, but the dr says it's just a cold!

This weekend? Z's been pointing to just about anything that catches her eye, from a picture on the wall to the ceiling fan, from a picture in a book to a figurine on a shelf...and saying "whadat?" She now will laugh and kinda prance at the same time. She has also correctly identified a kitty picture on a page when asked, and even once pointed and said "there". What a smarty-pants!! She's also becoming quite the mimic....we'll say a word and she tries as hard as she can to copy!

DST seems to be easier to handle this time around...but she IS a little more tired. She's going to bed at her normal time (around 7pm) and this morning, *I* had to wake her up!! And, she's been a champ napper lately!

Food favorites? Mac and cheese, grilled cheese, cheese sticks, blueberries and raspberries, yogurt mixed with fruit, applesauce, goldfish, pretzels, peas, and freeze dried fruit.

This morning, we're a little sad because Daddy had to go on a business trip to Dallas. He left the house at 3:30am, and since Zoe was sleeping, she wasn't able to say goodbye. She does miss him, lots and lots, and can't wait for him to come home!! Someone said something about a Zoe-sized cowgirl hat?!? Don't worry, he'll be home tomorrow evening!! Meanwhile, Zoe and Mommy get to spend some much needed girl-time together!!
