Well, in the last week or so, Zoe has become even *more* independent, if that's possible. She insists on walking by herself, but that can be problematic...she doesn't always like it when we tell her no. She's more likely to take grammy or grampy's hand than ours, but not always!
Yesterday, we had a very nice visit with Grammy and Grampy. Zoe had a fabulous time. She had a bath when we got home (after she had fallen asleep about a half mile from the park--it's only 2+ miles to the house). Anyway, after her bath, she's sitting on the couch, and without prompting, she said, "I had fun with Grampy and Grammy!" We asked her if she could tell us what she had done with you them (she hasn't been very good about doing this before). She said, "I had lunch with them, then we went to the park." We asked her if there was anything else, and she says, "I played the slides with Grampy, frow da ball with Grampy and Grammy, and walked." We asked her if she did anything else, and she says, "I swing to the sky with Grampy and Grammy!"
She talked about it again when we were putting her down for bed. She was so thrilled!
